Porter Preston, Inc. is an ALTA Window Fashions Distributor offering a Full Line of Custom Window Treatments. Established in September of 2002 by owners Jack Birtwell and Steve Gilmore, Porter Preston has since been providing its customers with outstanding customer service and the highest quality, most innovative automated and manual window treatment offerings available today.
OUR HISTORY
In April of 2009, Porter Preston, Inc. acquired the roller shade fabricator Beards-Cosden Co. of Mount Vernon, New York – welcoming another owner, Nick Cunningham. One year later, they purchased Precision Blind Systems of Methuen, Massachusetts. The most recent addition in the Porter Preston expansion was fabricator and distributor S. Wolf & Sons of Pennsylvania in 2011.
Porter Preston prides itself on supplying unique solutions for a variety of decorating situations. We supply our retailers with the products to transform a room with the most fashion forward designs in blinds, shades, shutters and drapery hardware. We also provide our clients with the ability and the technology to motorize one shade or automate the window treatments in an entire home.
